Special Specifications
To protect our wakeboards on kickers and sliders, Jstar added special specifications to a few boards in the collection. The new Lidberg series by Keith Lidberg and Brigade series by Jeff Weatherall are reinforced with ABS rails inside the inmolded fins. The bottom of the board is made out of a strong, lightweight and durable material. On top of all these specifications the boards have a 'rolled rail'. The rolled rail keeps the pressure of the edge and protects the board against delaminating.

Pro Rider Keith Lidberg
Jstar pro rider Keith Lidberg has been involved with adding these specifications every step of the way. Most brands supply their boards with a grind base which makes these boards heavier and the artwork on the boards limited. Due to these facts Jstar started the search for new ways to make our boards slider and kicker proof! Keith acknowledged the special specifications and is very happy with the end result!

Plastic / ABS 'inmolded fins'
The plastic reinforcements in the fins of the board make the fins stronger.
"We managed to get plastic/ABS into the building process. This basically means that the board is indestructible on sliders and kickers" (Keith Lidberg)

Durable Flow Base Material
The base of both boards is made out of a strong durable and lightweight material. Unlike boards with a grindbase the Lidberg and Brigade boards are colourful and fast on sliders and kickers . The board looks ''fresh'' twice as long as all other boards on the market! All this makes Keith a very happy man.

Rolled Rail
According to Keith the best thing about the boards is the 'rolled rail' . The rolled rail prevents the board from splitting on the edges. From tip to tail the edges are on top of the board instead of the bottom. This way you can hit kickers and sliders safely. ''Ideal if you ask me''. Even though the grind base is very popular at the moment, Jstar comes out with these new specifications. By doing this we feel that Jstar is ahead of the competition. With king (Keith Lidberg) and queen (Maxine Sapulette) of cable wakeboarding our team could not stay behind.
